For Posts Sakes!

Bad Blogger!

- Have a lot of visitors coming by the house the next 2 weeks, all of which I'm looking forward too. 2 couples are coming over for dinner tomorrow night, see the new house, maybe brush some dust of the Wii, that should be fun. Thanksgiving is this upcoming weekend where it's my Dad's turn to see the new house, maybe even the mythical older brother will make an appearance as well. The following Wednesday M&K are coming by, squeezing us into their Ontariopalooza 2007 Tour - which I'm sure is jammed packed so we're lucky to the whole night with them, the Wii dust will be long gone that night and I may just have to be sick that Thursday *cough cough* i feel the cough due to cold setting in now. 3 Day Week!!!

- Clue: Master Detective is simply put a fantastic game! We received this masterpiece (it was only ever produced in 1988) as a housewarming gift from our other obsessed sleuther friends S&S - Ebay and weeks of searching.. thanks guys!!! 4 New Characters, 2 new weapons, 7 new rooms (although they cut out 4 for a net of 3 rooms) make for a harder more intense game. I've gone a little cold in my reign as Master Inspector, losing my last two games. I started the series by winning the first 4 games, we've now played 6 total, 7 if you count the one where Col. Mustard killed Mr. Body with the revolver in the... lead pipe (oops). Although I still have a respectable ratio, I'm quickly being out sleuthed by the competition, which makes for really close fun games! The gameplay is much better than the original as well, 2 Dice (vs 1) and rooms being closer together mean very few turns are wasted - and even with a horrible roll, there may be an option for you to gain an advantage over your competition! If you would like to visit for a night of murder solving, just let me know.

- The PVR is going in full force. I'm trying out new shows like Cavemen, Big Bang Theory, Rules of Engagement, Bionic Women before making my yearly cuts. So far BBT is pretty funny, and the Bionic women simply may not be hot enough for the show to survive, I know sexist right? But oh so true. Heroes, CSI, Survivor are all back so those are back into the mix, and final cuts must be made before Friday Night Lights / Lost and 24 comes back. Studio 60 was cut for me, which wasn't cool at all, but I've grieved, and now must move on.

- The NHL Season is back. I don't get near as excited as I used to. And I'm only in one hockey pool. Crazy! Maybe football has taken away some of the importance, or maybe with the outlook for the Leafs the past few years lucky to get the 6-7-8 seed, it's hard to get excited. Anyway, I'll watch for sure, but seeing all 82 Leafs games this year is not going to happen.

- Speaking of football, WTF happened this weekend? Some craziness is taking place in the world of the NFL, as well as my world of Fantasy Football. I think the ship will right itself soon...

- Big Halloween party coming up, I'm currently the defending costume champion for both the 70's party and last year's Halloween Party, so there's a lot of pressure with my choice this year. So I may (MAY!) just cut some holes out of a sheet this year and phone it in, let someone else win ;) If the party is anything like it was last year, perhaps I dress up as a hobo trying to collect spare change, so this way when I wake up on the sidewalk with the worlds worst hangover at 4 in the afternoon covered in my own urine, maybe I'll have made a few bucks.

Okay enough for now, back to work.
Talk to you all soon,
Greg.
